Volunteers

   VOLUNTEERS

Season: Required hours/points is 25 per family.

SCHEDULE AND SIGN-UP:

Volunteering begins primarily at the start of each swim meet based on what position needs to be filled.  Please note that each parent is required to volunteer; however, if we all just did the minimum, we would not have the necessary manpower to run a swim season.  We ask our kids to put forth their best efforts in the pool so let's lead by example and do the same.  Thanks for your support!

VOLUNTEER POSITIONS:

It takes many people working together to run a swim team efficiently. Without substantial parent participation, no swimmer would ever get in the water. If every family volunteers, no one person should be overburdened. What a fun way to get involved with your children and neighbors! Please sign up to work at least one shift per meet.

Listed below are most of the volunteer positions that must be filled each season. Some require NWAL training and certification. Most positions are centered around the swim meets on Saturdays; however, many positions are available for volunteers at other times during the week or year.

You are required to sign-up on the master list of Volunteer jobs before your child is officially registered to the team.
