Eligibility
ELIGIBILITY
- Eligible participants are children aged 18 and under.
- A swimmer outside the subdivision may register to swim on the team. If his/her subdivision has a swim team, we must apply for a waiver.
- There are no tryouts to join the team; however, due to size constraints, limited staff/volunteers, and limited practice times, all our participants should be comfortable in the water and not be a hazard to themselves or others while in the water.
- It is not required to know all the swim strokes. Skills will improve over time.
- Due to liability issues, no swimmers will be allowed in the water until they have registered.
- A swimmer must participate in a minimum of two dual meets in order to swim in the Divisional Meet (championship meet).
- The team is a volunteer-run organization. All swim families have a minimum number of hours/points they must meet. (Some families choose to pay to Opt-out of volunteering.)
