VOLUNTEERING
The Concord Bridge Swim Team is a volunteer-run organization. The success of our swim meets and our team depends on the help of all our families so the workload is manageable. We need to be able to provide capable volunteers in sufficient numbers to run our meets safely and efficiently. In order to maintain a fair
level of participation from ALL the CBST families, we have found it necessary to implement a volunteer deposit. (See page 2 regarding the "Volunteer Deposit Fee".) You must work at least 25 hours to get your deposit returned to you at the end of the season.

All volunteers should check in prior to every meet. If you don't remember what Volunteer Team you are on, then you should check in with our Volunteer Coordinators and they will tell you that information from what you signed up for during registration. If you did not sign up for a particular Volunteer Team at registration, you should check in with our Volunteer Coordinators, and they will find a Volunteer Team for you. You will always need to check in with your Volunteer Team Coordinators prior to every meet to sign up for the shift you can work that day. Shifts will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you are concerned you are not going to complete all your volunteer hours, then please talk to one of our Volunteer Coordinators. There are many, many opportunities to get volunteer hours! Besides the regular swim meets, there is work that can be done during the week and at year-end. Our divisional meet and year-end
party are also great opportunities to get volunteer hours as well.
